Zoom L6Max Portable 12-Channel Battery Powered Live Mixer and Recorder

The Zoom LiveTrak L6max delivers the power of a full-size digital mixer with the flexibility of a multi-track recorder, all in a compact, battery-powered design. Whether you’re performing live, rehearsing, podcasting, or streaming, it’s built to be the centerpiece of your setup.

With 12 channels of input, including four combo jacks (two with Hi-Z) and eight line inputs, the L6max adapts to any scenario from solo performers to full bands. Two headphone outputs and a dedicated Sub-Out mix provide customizable monitoring, while channels 5–8 include a -20 dB PAD switch for handling loud sources such as synths and Eurorack modules. The high-contrast OLED display makes it easy to navigate projects and settings on the fly.

Recording is where the L6max truly shines. Capture up to 14 tracks—12 individual channels plus a stereo mix—directly to SD cards up to 2TB, with unlimited overdubbing, bounce, and undo options. Dual-AD converters and 32-bit float recording ensure pristine, clip-free audio, even with the loudest drums or dynamic vocals. AI Noise Reduction intelligently removes hum and background noise without compromising detail, while onboard tools like 3-band EQ, Reverb, Delay, Echo, and a master compressor help you craft polished mixes.

The L6max also doubles as a 12-in / 4-out USB audio interface for computers, iOS, and Android devices, and it functions as a DAW control surface for streamlined production. Pro-level features like AUX sends, scene memory, MIDI I/O, USB MIDI, and sound pads with MIDI sync make it just as powerful in the studio as it is on stage. With the free L6 Editor app for Mac and Windows, you can customize pads, effects, and MIDI assignments to match your workflow.

Designed for mobility, the L6max runs on AA batteries, USB bus power, or a mobile battery pack, and it can be integrated into a Eurorack system using optional accessories. It’s a versatile, portable solution that gives you the power of a studio with the freedom of a compact mixer.
