Ashdown Rootmaster RM-500-EVO II 500-watt Bass Head

Introducing the Ashdown RM-500 EVO II, the ultimate amplifier for those who demand Ashdown's signature tone, uncompromising power, and unwavering reliability without the cumbersome weight. Weighing a mere 2.1KG (4.6lbs), this compact dynamo boasts an impressive 500 watts of power and class-leading quality and features.

One of the standout features is the onboard headphone preamp, transforming this amp into a versatile practice device for silent rehearsals. It accommodates both passive and active instruments, ensuring a pristine signal path to the input control, complete with Ashdown's trademark VU meter for precise level adjustment.

But that's not all – the RM-500 EVO II offers a wealth of tonal sculpting options. The 5-band EQ, onboard compressor, and tube-emulated overdrive give you complete control over your sound, while the sub-harmonic controls add extra depth. These features can be foot-switched using the FS-2 foot-switch (sold separately), offering exceptional flexibility.

The addition of a mute button, illuminated in cool blue, adds a touch of stage presence, and the matte alloy front panel eliminates reflections under bright lights. Whether you're performing on stage or perfecting your craft in the studio, the Ashdown RM-500 EVO II delivers unparalleled tone, power, and style.

For added versatility, the amp offers send and return sockets, a DI output for seamless integration with PA systems, and a Line Input for rehearsing with backing tracks. Partner it with Ashdown's Rootmaster EVO cabinets for a perfect match. With the RM-500 EVO II, your sound will be smooth, powerful, and ready for any stage or studio setting.
